Our Team

  • Dr Andrew Robertson

Head vet and part owner of our clinic, Andrew or better known as ‘Robbo’ has been a practicing vet for just short of 10 years. He started his veterinary career at Western Rivers doing everything from small animal surgery to equine reproduction and cattle AI. These days Andrew is our go to man for all things large animal related. Although he isn’t in the clinic as much as he used to be his wealth of knowledge of both small animal and large animal is elite. Robbo loves being a vet; helping clients solve problems and improving the health of their pets and livestock.

  • Dr Erica Kennedy

Head vet and also part owner of the clinic, Erica is our small animal, ruminant nutrition and sheep expert! ‘EK’ kicked off her career as a mixed practice vet, and then went on to be a government vet in Nyngan for four and a half years - a wealth of knowledge to say the least! Erica is also very passionate about companion animals and loves anything that challenges her, she performs our orthopaedic procedures, has a special interest in opthalmology and is enthusiastic about starting puppies off on the right foot.

  • Dr Steph Dunlop

Very experienced and our absolute ‘get it done girl’, Steph is our versatile and dedicated associate veterinarian. Steph completed her studies at CSU and joined our team after spending a few years in Dubbo. Steph is a fierce patient advocate and an exceptionally knowledgeable and skillful veterinarian. You will often see Steph between all of our clinics, when she isn’t on farm seeing large animals.

  • Dr Hannah Edgell

Hannah is a passionate and energetic vet who joined us straight from university, and is such an asset to our team. Han is as bubbly as they come, and a real go getter! Hannah loves practicing a mix of both small and large animals, and is forever broadening her knowledge! Han particularly enjoys wound repair surgeries and the challenge they often bring. Her hands-on approach and dedication to her patients makes Hannah a very valued member of our team.

  • Christine Tilley

Christine is our lovely accounts manager and my gosh - where would we be without her?! Christine, along with her husband Charles foundered the ‘Warren Vet Hospital’ back in 1985 before it went on to become Western Rivers Vets Group many years later. Christine is extremely wise, and not much gets past her! We’re yet to find a question she doesn’t have an answer to! She is an integral part of our team and really keeps the wheels spinning.

  • Maddie Lawry

Maddie is a vet nurse and has been with us since taking over the business in 2020. Maddie was not long home from working over in The Kimberley Region in WA, when Robbo asked her for some ‘casual’ work and she has been here since! Maddie is a qualified nurse but spends her time these days doing reception and practice management work in our Nyngan clinic. Maddie has the perfect balance between flexibility and OCD - traits which we all love. She cares deeply about her clients and patients and is a highly valued member of our team.

  • Sammy Wilson

Sammy is one of our vet nurses, and has been with us since 2021. Before starting her nursing career, Sammy spent a few years up north working on stations in WA and QLD, so practicality is her thing! In the clinic we refer to Sammy as our ‘largies nurse’, she has broad knowledge of sheep, cattle and horses and loves getting out on farm with the vets!

  • Amanda Fisk

Amanda, or better known as ‘Fisky’ is one of our superstar nurses. Fisky had previously been living and working in Dubbo, but made the move to Warren to work at Western Rivers. With over 8 years experience in the industry, her standard of care when it comes to our patients is exceptional. Her methodical approach and forward thinking foster a gold standard for all patients in her care. Fisky is usually found hospital or surgical nursing within the clinic

  • Sophie Bedrossian

With many years of nursing experience under her belt, Soph is a very valued nurse at WRVG. Her expertise runs beyond routine veterinary care, as she has a keen interest in animal behaviour and training. From this has stemmed the beginning of Nyngan’s first ever Puppy Preschool! Sophie also has a wide knowledge on wildlife from her zoo keeping days, so with that and her advanced nursing skills, we are very lucky to have Sophie based at our Nyngan clinic.

  • Sarah Geraets

Sarah started with us in 2025, and really hit the ground running! Sarah has many years experience as a vet nurse in various clinical settings, and is known for her compassionate and dedicated approach to both animals and clients. Sarah has exceptional experience and skills in surgical nursing, and we are very lucky to have her on board with us!
